1) Why did you pick Pathfinder as your KiwiSaver provider?
Because of the ethos, they are brilliant. And as a person with a strong view on ethical issues including, animal rights, climate change and human rights, I want my money to be invested in companies that align with that view. Also, I was amazed by the idea that they would only invest in New Zealand listed companies that have at least one female director on their boards.
2) What values drive your business?
V on wheels purpose is to share the value of Veganism not only as a meal but as a lifestyle choice. We choose to be a sustainable contributor to illness prevention through convenience food that refuses to tolerate animal exploitation and harm to the planet. Since is proven that veganism has an smaller footprint, that ticks all the boxes: for the people, for the animals, and for the planet.
3) What’s your vision for the future?
Im positive about people becoming more and more aware of the impact of our everyday choices and changing habits that are less harming. I believe in the power of minorities and how slowly the voice of those who care are getting louder and louder.
4) Do you think your KiwiSaver investments are helping bring us closer to that future?
Absolutely. I believe there’s a lot of good stuff happening in the world that we'll see if we switch off the ‘official’ news. And the fact that a company like this is investing in life over capital, it feels very promising.
